Development of a New Class of Zero Cross Correlation Codes for Spectral Amplitude Coding in Optical CDMA Systems
Abstract: The paper presents a method for the development of a new class of Zero Cross Correlation optical code for Optical Code Division Multiple Access system using Spectral Amplitude Coding. The proposed code is called Modified Zero Cross Correlation Code (MZCC). The code has minimum length and can be constructed quite simply for any number of users and for any code weight. The code has better spectrum slicing properties and noise performance as compared to the existing Zero Cross Correlation Code.
